Load Balancing Engineer F5 LTM/GTM, Network Security & Traffic Management
We have an urgent need for a Load Balancing Engineer for a full‑time onsite opportunity in Chandler, AZ. This role focuses on enterprise‑scale load balancing, application delivery infrastructure, network security, and traffic management services. The role is part of a global load balancing engineering team and involves designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available load balancing solutions, collaborating with line‑of‑business stakeholders, and ensuring operational excellence across critical network services.
Responsibilities- Manage the full lifecycle of application delivery infrastructure
- Perform code upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and end‑of‑life replacement initiatives
- Develop implementation plans and operational runbooks
- Validate designs, conduct quality assurance testing, support production deployments, and maintain service levels through KPI and SLA standards
- Participate in metrics reporting, operational reviews, security implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support complex enterprise projects involving application delivery, DNS, SSL offloading, and traffic optimization
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong expertise in F5 Load Balancing technologies including LTM, GTM, APM, ASM
- Experience with application traffic management, enterprise networking, network security, SSL offloading, and persistence management
- Strong understanding of networking protocols including BGP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, SSL, and enterprise network security principles
- Experience with F5 iControl APIs, iRules, AVI or VMware technologies, and troubleshooting complex networking environments
- Knowledge of SSL PKI infrastructure, security assessments, risk mitigation, packet filtering, and ITIL‑based service management practices
- Experience with Python development, Bash scripting, automation initiatives, and operational excellence programs
- Ability to work on payroll of the client
