Business Execution Senior Consultant – Contract
Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ;
Charlotte, NC; or Minneapolis, MN. 24+ month contract opportunity. Candidates must be available to work directly for Genesis

This role supports the execution of enterprise Software Asset Management (SAM) and Software License Compliance (SLC) activities. The individual manages license compliance analysis, contract review support, software data quality, and audit readiness within the SAM/SLC function, ensuring compliance with vendor agreements and accuracy of enterprise software data.
Responsibilities- Perform software license compliance analysis and apply license rules to determine compliance position.
- Support license reconciliations for strategic and non‑strategic vendors.
- Analyze software contracts and licensing agreements to interpret terms, restrictions, and entitlements.
- Perform daily research and analysis of software asset data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Troubleshoot data quality issues across discovery, inventory, and entitlement sources.
- Utilize Service Now and other web‑based workflow tools to execute SAM/SLC processes.
- Assist with internal and external software audits and prepare supporting documentation.
- Identify opportunities for license optimization and cost savings.
- 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, Strategic Planning, or Technology experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), or software license compliance functions.
- Working knowledge of software license models, compliance concepts, software contract analysis, and data analysis.
- Artificial Intelligence knowledge and experience with Claude, Copilot/Copilot Studio, Gemini, etc.
- Hands‑on experience in software asset management and software license compliance.
- Experience working with Service Now and web‑based workflow or reconciliation tools.
- Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management.
- Experience supporting or managing medium‑scale technology efforts within a line of business.
- Analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Certification or formal training in Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) or equivalent.
$51.09 - $59.09 per hour
