Responsibilities

  • Create infrastructure tools and integrations as services that enable business strategies in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies.
  • Facilitate deployment of technical solutions by developing templates, playbooks and automation used during implementation.
  • Maintain and support IBM System Automation for Z/OS, GDPS-CA technology, and related automation processes.
  • Write and maintain documentation for tools and automation.
  • Lead individual or small-team initiatives on technical solution requirements and design.
  • Participate in on‑call support and perform on‑site evaluations of third‑party products.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and consulting services to ensure technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards.
  • Assist in translating business requirements into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints and playbooks.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience with Mainframe z/OS operating system.
  • Deep knowledge of IBM System Automation Z/OS, GDPS‑CA, and related utilities (e.g., IEBCOPY, IEBGENER).
  • Proficiency in Mainframe REXX programming and Pipes programming.
  • Experience with JCL, TSO, ISPF, and model‑based deployment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to interface with system programmers, application developers, support teams, vendors, and management.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables with various deadlines and work under minimal supervision.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Release/Change Tools and automation of production support processes.
  • Analytical thinking, risk management, and Dev Ops practices.
  • Business acumen and solution design experience.
Shift & Hours

1st shift (United States of America). Full‑time, 40 hours per week. The role requires after‑hours support including weekends and holidays.
