Position Overview

The Head of Hyper‑Converged Infrastructure Stack Development Executive will lead the implementation and delivery of technology solutions aligned with a focused converged infrastructure strategy. This executive drives evaluation, automation, and software‑defined solutions, blending deep infrastructure expertise with modern software engineering and automation practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships with business and technology executives, sponsors, and vendors for technical products, ensuring alignment with portfolio strategy and client feedback.
  • Create an inclusive and healthy working environment, sponsoring process improvements and resolving organizational impediments.
  • Conduct portfolio‑level resourcing and financial management, track strategic technology outcomes, and promote organizational resources to achieve objectives.
  • Establish a culture of risk and compliance management and ensure compliance with all applicable policies and standards.
  • Oversee procurement, vendor evaluations, and contract negotiations for technical products and services.
  • Lead a team of technical experts in converged infrastructure, automation, and software‑defined HCI platforms.
  • Drive automation‑first mindset, leading the development of APIs, CLIs, and orchestration layers for full‑stack provisioning, monitoring, and remediation.
  • Collaborate closely with platform, development, and cloud engineering teams to integrate with CI/CD pipelines and cloud‑native systems.
  • Own the vision and roadmap for HCI software strategy—observability, lifecycle management, self‑healing, and compliance.
  • Integrate open‑source and commercial tools to accelerate infrastructure automation and operational excellence.
  • Establish and enforce engineering best practices, including code quality, test automation, and secure development practices.
  • Automate manual processes and create real‑time dashboards and reporting.
  • Define and nurture a culture of documentation, knowledge transition, and open information sharing.
  • Facilitate performance and career development of teams through reviews, coaching, and development plans.
  • Proactively assess capabilities and delivery targets to ensure alignment with organizational goals, SLAs, and demand management.
  • Identify and remediate material shortcomings in organizational performance capabilities.
  • Manage Cloud and Data Center Services Application Inventory Tools within the organizational scope, adhering to enterprise processes.
Managerial Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
  • 20+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering with at least 10 years in leadership roles.
  • Strong software development background in languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
