Job Title: Information Security Engineer 3 – Contingent
Location: Chandler, AZ (Preferred) / Irving, TX (Las Colinas)
Contract Length: 18mo (Conversion Eligible)
Pay Rate: $53 - $57
Top Requirements- Strong network security experience (firewalls, firewall rules/policies)
- Experience implementing core information security principles (availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, etc.)
- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and drive remediation of security issues independently
- Experience with Security Architecture
- Experience with enterprise infrastructure components
- Background in financial services
In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives within Information Security Engineering. You will review and analyze security challenges requiring in-depth evaluation and contribute to resolving security issues while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This role focuses on network security engineering, policy enforcement, and infrastructure security management.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Configure and support network security solutions including firewalls and policy management
- Analyze and implement security controls across infrastructure (availability, integrity, confidentiality)
- Identify and drive remediation of infrastructure security gaps, policies, and baselines
- Manage and track security exceptions and escalations
- Perform threat identification, risk analysis, and monitoring activities
- Collaborate with Security Architecture, Principal Engineers, and Infrastructure teams
- Participate in incident response, access management, and business continuity efforts
- Conduct independent research, analysis, and problem-solving for security challenges
- Ensure alignment with enterprise security standards and best practices
