10 is currently seeking a Redis & Middleware Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
We are seeking a skilled Redis & Middleware Engineer to support, administer, and optimize enterprise middleware platforms and caching technologies in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong middleware administration experience, hands-on expertise with CI/CD automation tools, and working knowledge of Redis. This role will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, security, and reliability of middleware infrastructure while supporting application deployment pipelines and automation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain, and support enterprise middleware platforms across development, testing, and production environments
- Install, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and upgrade middleware technologies to ensure high availability and optimal performance
- Manage and support Redis environments, including deployment, configuration, monitoring, backup, recovery, and performance tuning
- Collaborate with application development, Dev Ops, and infrastructure teams to support application deployments and platform integrations
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related automation tools
- Manage artifact repositories and deployment processes utilizing Artifactory and XLR (XL Release)
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using Ansible and other orchestration tools to streamline operational processes
- Support release management activities, including deployment planning, execution, rollback procedures, and production support
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and standard operating procedures
- Participate in on-call support rotations and provide timely resolution of production issues
- Ensure compliance with organizational security, operational, and change management standards
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Middleware Administration, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Support roles
- Strong understanding of middleware technologies and enterprise application environments
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and support using Jenkins
- Experience managing artifact repositories using Artifactory
- Strong automation and configuration management experience with Ansible
- Experience supporting release automation and deployment orchestration tools such as XLR (XL Release)
- Familiarity with Celestial or similar enterprise deployment/orchestration platforms
- Working knowledge of Redis administration, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting
- Strong understanding of application deployment processes, system integration, and infrastructure architecture
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance management tools
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desired skills:
- Experience supporting high-availability and distributed application environments
- Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
- Experience with enterprise monitoring and observability platforms such as Splunk, Dynatrace, App Dynamics, or Datadog
- Understanding of security best practices for middleware and infrastructure environments
Pay range: $60.24 - $68.24 per hour
