HSM Engineer

Our client, a leader in secure cryptographic solutions, is seeking a HSM Engineer to join their team. As a HSM Engineer, you will be part of the Security Infrastructure Department supporting cryptographic operations and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Manage the full lifecycle of HSM appliances, including configuration, deployment, and maintenance

+ Support cryptographic key management processes and ensure compliance with industry standards

+ Perform firmware upgrades, troubleshooting outages, and incident resolution

+ Create detailed technical documentation and infrastructure diagrams

+ Serve as a backup key custodian for sensitive cryptographic operations

** What's Needed?*
* + 3-5 years of experience in HSM administration and cryptographic operations

+ Hands-on experience with HSM vendors such as Thales, Entrust, or Futurex

+ Strong understanding of PKI, digital certificates, and key management practices

+ Familiarity with security standards like FIPS 140-2/140-3, PCI-DSS, and NIST guidelines

+ Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Power Shell, or Bash for automation tasks
