Infrastructure Engineering Consultant
In this contingent resource assignment, you may consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Infrastructure Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Infrastructure Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Infrastructure Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Infrastructure Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with client personnel in Infrastructure Engineering.
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
Required Skills:
6+ months of experience in production supporting, including problem identification, ticket documentation, and customer/vendor relations Basic troubleshooting and problem solving skills Basic computer skills including the ability to navigate multiple windows, applications, and utilize search tools to find information Excellent technical skills Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Knowledge and understanding of technology support: logically analyzing, diagnosing, and solving technology problems.
Desired
Skills:
6+ months of experience working with HTTPS, HSH, and SHS protocols, including validating secure connections,
Experience with reviewing certificates, or supporting encrypted data transfer workflows. Exposure to managed file transfer tools such as Axway Secure Transport, Connect:
Direct/NDM, or SFTP platforms. Foundational understanding of networking concepts, including SFTP/FTP basics, TCP/IP, port testing, and certificates. Experience communicating technical issues clearly, demonstrated through support interactions, group projects, or ticket documentation Ability to produce clear written documentation, such as incident summaries, operational notes, or procedural updates. Bachelor's in computer science or related field preferred but not required.
