Virtual Infrastructure / VMware focused role

Strong experience with VMware suite (vRealize, vRA, vROps) Experience with Dell / Client hardware and Power Flex Exposure to Nutanix AHV/AOS, SAN/NAS environments The Systems Operations Engineer 4 – VMware is responsible for supporting enterprise virtual infrastructure platforms, ensuring system reliability, performance, and scalability across distributed environments. This role focuses on VMware technologies, infrastructure operations, hardware support, and incident management, along with leading troubleshooting and restoration efforts in high-availability environments.

Virtual Infrastructure Support

• Support VMware environments (vRealize, vRA, vROps)
• Maintain virtual hosting infrastructure

Hardware & Systems Support

• Support Dell and Client server hardware
• Troubleshoot physical server issues in remote data centers
• Support Dell Power Flex environments

Platform & OS Support

• Support Windows, Linux, and VDI environments
• Manage SAN and NAS storage systems
• Support Nutanix AHV/AOS

Incident Management

• Lead break/fix and service restoration activities
• Perform root cause analysis and incident resolution
• Work with monitoring teams for alerts and escalations

Operations & Optimization

• Improve system efficiencies and reduce manual effort
• Maintain system availability and reliability
• Support infrastructure upgrades and enhancements

Collaboration

• Work with business, engineering, and infrastructure teams
• Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain operational documentation
• Follow enterprise policies and standards

4+ years of Systems Engineering experience 3–5 years of VMware experience (Required) Strong knowledge of VMware fundamentals and related technologies Experience with Power Flex (Required) Strong troubleshooting and production support experience

Experience with Dell and Client server hardware VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Experience with Nutanix Strong communication and collaboration skills Strong analytical and technical aptitude
