As a Geek Squad Agent, you'll be the first point of contact for people seeking technology support, knowledge and solutions for computers and other devices at our local Best Buy store. We'll provide the training and resources you need to assess customers’ needs, perform basic services and partner with other agents as needed on more complex repairs.
What you will do- Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check‑in and checkout process.
- Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow‑up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
- Help customers set up new devices and advise on whether to repair or replace old devices.
- Monitor service queues and give accurate status updates to customers.
- Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
- Communicate clearly and collaborate with fellow agents.
- 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
- Passion for technology and desire to solve problems.
- Ability to adapt and learn new skills in a fast‑paced industry.
