Business System Analyst 2 – Technology Distribution Team
This role is four days onsite hybrid at our Scottsdale office and is not eligible for sponsorship.
Role OverviewAs part of the Technology Distribution Team, you will translate business and partner needs into clear, actionable requirements that enable our engineering teams to deliver scalable, high‑quality distribution solutions. You will collaborate between business and technology, documenting integration requirements and ensuring accurate rate, availability, and reservation flows.
Responsibilities- Gain a solid understanding of customer requirements and gaps through discussions, observations, and analysis.
- Support integration efforts by documenting APIs, message flows, data mappings, and system interactions.
- Act as the “Voice of the Customer” for technical teams executing projects.
- Facilitate meetings of all types from discovery, project planning, and review.
- Identify connections between systems and recognize dependencies, risks or impacts.
- Write clear, concise user stories, epics, and initiatives conveying what success looks like.
- Facilitate and participate in Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and stand‑ups.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience working in Agile software development environments.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and systems analysis concepts.
- Understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data flows; experience with tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or REST APIs is a plus.
- Familiarity with service‑oriented architectures and modern application design principles.
- Ability to analyze complex information, resolve ambiguities, and communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience creating process flows and diagrams using tools such as Lucidchart or Visio.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking, collaboration, accountability, and learning agility.
This is an individual contributor role that will work as part of the Choice IT Distribution Team and collaborate with cross‑functional departments.
