Kafka, Terraform, Ansible, Python, Linux are primary skills. Secondary skills include Dynatrace and App Dynamics. Minimum 10 years of experience is required. Roles and responsibilities include 7-10 years of hands-on software development experience. The role involves updating existing automation programs and developing new infrastructure automation for deploying and managing Confluent Kafka in internal or external cloud. Hands-on development experience with Terraform and Python/Ansible is mandatory.
The role requires capturing business requirements from LOBs and designing solutions in collaboration with engineering and operations teams. It also involves working closely with Application Development/Support teams to understand the usage of messaging protocols within application software. Documentation of business requirements and development plans to address problems/requirements is essential. Developing testing automation and troubleshooting problems during testing is also part of the role.
Analyzing IT security standards and policies for multiple high-complexity projects is necessary. The role is responsible for providing IT security and automation expertise, including baseline security standards and policies for multiple projects of high complexity. It involves identifying potential threats and risks and making recommendations to prevent these issues. The role is a key individual contributor, with accountability for enabling secure environments (processes and technologies) for the business and technology groups.
Technical and business knowledge is utilized to design and implement secure, risk-based solutions, exercising judgment within broadly defined practices and policies. The role is results-oriented, business-focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units, at various levels.
