10 is currently seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
Our client is seeking a Cloud Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for their Internal Cloud team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Unix/Linux server platforms and will be proficient in Terraform, Shell scripting, Java, Python, and Ansible development. This role involves the entire lifecycle of cloud services, from inception and design through deployment, operation, and support. This position requires 3 days onsite per week.
Responsibilities:- Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health
- Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack: hardware, software, application and network
- Perform deep dives into both systemic and latent reliability issues; partner with engineering and operation teams across the organization to produce and roll out fixes
- Drive standardization efforts across multiple disciplines and services in conjunction with embedded SREs throughout the organization
- Identify and drive opportunities to improve automation for the cloud services
- Scope and create automation for deployment, management and visibility of our services
- 5+ years of experience working with Unix/Linux Server platforms
- Proficiency in Terraform, Shell scripting, Java, Python, or Ansible development
- Experience with the whole lifecycle of cloud services from inception and design, through deployment, operation and support
Pay range: $56.73 - $64.73 per hour
