Job Title: Internal Cloud Release Manager - AZ
Location: Chandler, AZ - Local Candidates Only
Position type: 12+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion
What's the Job?- Oversee end-to-end governance of the Internal Cloud Platform release lifecycle, including planning, coordination, and execution of infrastructure and platform changes.
- Manage release dependencies across engineering, operations, security, and product teams to ensure safe and predictable platform updates.
- Establish and enforce release standards, cadence, and readiness criteria to support consistent enterprise-scale delivery.
- Coordinate release calendars, change windows, and automation workflows, integrating CI/CD pipeline outputs into controlled production releases.
- Lead cross-team collaboration to minimize risk and ensure platform stability during release cycles.
- 3-5 years of experience managing release life cycles for enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or shared services.
- Proven expertise in release management, change management, and dependency coordination within complex, multi-team environments.
- Hands‑on experience with Jira, Agile/SAFe tooling, and release tracking mechanisms for large delivery backlogs.
- Strong working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), and automated change promotion into production.
- Experience operating within regulated environments where platform stability, auditability, and change controls are mandatory.
