** Role Overview We are seeking an Application Programmer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level application support, which includes monitoring batch processes, managing alerts, and resolving incidents. This role requires a professional who can effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals and contribute to a multi-regional team environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Monitor multiple batch processes to completion, investigating and resolving any issues.
* Provide timely response, analysis, and resolution of issues identified through alert monitoring.
* Create and update support documentation to contribute to knowledge management.
* Manage incidents by creating clear documentation, maintaining communication, and following escalation channels.
* Provide subject matter expertise to troubleshoot and resolve application issues and user inquiries.
* Research the root cause of issues and recommend preventative actions.
* Utilize framework tools such as ITSM/Service-Now, ITRS, Dynatrace, and Splunk for updates and reporting.

Required Qualifications
*
* Experience:

** 3-5 years in an application support position with hands-on experience supporting client applications.
** Technical

Skills:

*** Strong knowledge of Autosys.
* Strong knowledge of UNIX and Shell scripting.
* Good knowledge of SQL, Oracle, Hadoop, or similar DBMS.
* Ability to rationalize the impact of multiple concurrent issues and prioritize work.
* Ability to learn quickly and independently.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Enterprise Monitoring tools such as ITRS Geneos, Splunk, Dynatrace, or NEWS.
* Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
* Working knowledge of ITIL foundations.
* Experience with documentation tools like Confluence.
* Financial industry experience.
