10 is currently seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for a hybrid position (3 days onsite per week) with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This role is accountable for establishing and maintaining partnerships with Application Development and Production Support teams to implement Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) measures. The individual will ensure appropriate instrumentation, tooling, and alerting are in place for key services, with a specific focus on automation, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, Python, and Cloud technologies. This role demonstrates a high level of technical expertise and the ability to advance efficient solution delivery practices.
Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain partnerships with Application Development and Production Support teams
- Implement SRE measures as prescribed by the Senior SRE and team
- Ensure appropriate instrumentation, tooling, ticketing, alerting and on-call routines are in place for key services
- Decompose issues or objectives into units of work for team members
- Advocate and advance more efficient solution delivery practices
- Evangelize great design, engineering, and organizational practices
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Terraform Enterprise, Ansible Automation, and Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with Terraform Enterprise, JAVA, Hashi Corp Consul, and Open Shift
- Experience with Python, Ansible, Golang, and shell scripting
- Strong experience in major services related to Compute, Storage, Network, and Security
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Dynatrace, and cloud native tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
- Strong understanding of complex infrastructure, including RHEL/Windows Servers, Open Shift containers, Terraform, and Azure/AWS virtual resources
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, and the Git Ops model
- Excellent understanding of Linux/Windows operating systems administration
- Experience in Jira, Remedy, and other workload management tools
- Hashi Corp Terraform/Red Hat Ansible certifications are a plus

Pay range: $60.24 - $68.24 per hour
