Application Production Support

Genesis
10 is currently seeking an Application Production Support for a position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

The successful candidate will join a team providing 24x7 follow-the-sun support for real-time banking applications. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operational support, including resolving system issues and user-reported incidents, as well as supporting change and release activities for a global banking business.

• Provide day to day production application support
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues on the banking platform and associated applications, and participate in incident bridges
• Provide technical support on payments applications, providing in-depth technical analysis as required
• Follow up post-issue to investigate and determine root cause, identifying and implementing mitigating solutions
• Document and maintain operational procedures, problem tickets, and contingency-related documents
• Fulfil risk, audit, and regulatory requests
• Manage stakeholders across business and technology groups
• Engage in initiative work as required
• Continually identify and drive process improvement opportunities such as improved monitoring and automation

• Technology background with experience in Unix/Linux
• Experience with SQL Database query language
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace
• Experience in application support processes including incident management, release management, and risk governance
• Knowledge and experience in problem and conflict management
• Ability to work with and manage stakeholders across various locations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills

Pay range: $60.24 - $68.24 per hour
