Site Reliability Engineer – Observability & Performance Engineering
Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer – Observability & Performance Engineering to join their team. As a Site Reliability Engineer – Observability & Performance Engineering, you will be part of the IT Operations supporting critical application performance and system reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $65-70
What's the Job?
- Establish and enhance monitoring systems to measure end-to-end performance and user availability of critical applications.
- Collaborate with business partners and operations teams to develop technical and business monitoring requirements.
- Support production and operational environments by evaluating system performance, reliability, scalability, and resiliency.
- Identify, triage, and resolve production issues, partnering with engineering teams to determine root causes.
- Create dashboards, reports, and alerts to communicate key metrics and improve system observability.
What's Needed?
- 8-10 years of experience in IT, with at least 6 years in Dev Ops, SRE, or performance engineering roles.
- Proficiency in triaging production issues using APM tools such as Dynatrace, App Dynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic.
- Strong background in Java, front-end development (React JS, Angular), and middleware such as Apache/Tomcat.
- Experience with backend databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or Hadoop, and scripting skills in Python, UNIX, or Perl.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, JFrog Artifactory, Terraform, and Ansible.
