10 is currently seeking an AWS Architect
- Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC. This is a 9+ month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for designing end-to-end solutions for AWS Database products using Infrastructure as Code. The ideal candidate will leverage extensive hands-on experience with Terraform and Terraform Enterprise to build reusable modules and implement robust CI/CD pipelines within a multi-account, multi-region cloud environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end solutions for AWS Database products via Infrastructure as Code through Terraform
• Build reusable IaC modules, managing state, work spaces, remote backends, and environment promotion patterns
• Integrate Bitbucket pipelines to automate Terraform plans/applies with quality gates and approvals
• Design secure, scalable, and highly available solutions across multi-account and multi-region AWS environments
• Ensure security and compliance through encryption, secrets management, auditability, and alignment to enterprise controls

Requirements:

• 7 years of proven hands-on experience with Terraform
• Experience with Terraform Enterprise (TFE), including workspace design, policy-as-code, and VCS-driven workflows
• Strong CI/CD implementation experience with tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, XLR, or Code Pipeline
• Strong AWS architecture expertise
• Deep knowledge of AWS database services (e.g., RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, Document DB, Elasti Cache, Open Search)
• Hands-on IAM expertise, including designing least-privilege access, IAM roles/policies, and cross-account access
• Strong AWS networking skills (VPC, Transit Gateway, Private Link, Route 53)
• Hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week

Desired skills:

• Experience with Ansible playbooks for configuration automation

Pay range: $83.09 - $91.09 per hour
