Principal AI Data & Architect

Our client, a leading organization in network services and technology, is seeking an Application Architect III to join their team. As an Application Architect III, you will be part of the Data & Knowledge department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, analytical thinking, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Application Architect III

Location:Chandler, AZ (local only; hybrid onsite with 3 days onsite required)

Pay Range: $65-$70/hr

• Lead the design, governance, and continuous improvement of data and knowledge assets supporting AI and agentic capabilities across Network Services.
• Define and maintain standards for documentation, configurations, telemetry, metadata, policies, and operational knowledge for AI consumption.
• Collaborate with product and service subject matter experts to interpret network technologies and operational workflows, translating them into high-quality, reusable data assets.
• Design scalable methods for storing, governing, indexing, validating, and retrieving context assets used in AI-enabled workflows.
• Establish controls to identify and mitigate data quality, metadata quality, and knowledge quality issues, ensuring trusted AI model inputs.

• Extensive experience in engineering and governing both structured and unstructured data for analytics, automation, search, or AI solutions.
• Advanced understanding of data modeling, transformation, storage, indexing, retrieval, and metadata management patterns.
• Proven ability to define enterprise standards for data, documents, knowledge artifacts, and operational context for AI readiness.
• Experience establishing data quality, metadata quality, and knowledge quality controls to enhance trust and usability.
• Strong knowledge of preventative and detective controls for data and knowledge management issues.
