Overview
Insight Global is looking for a Shipping Specialist to support a leading manufacturing organization. This role coordinates and processes domestic and international shipments, ensuring materials are delivered accurately and on time. The position uses carrier platforms such as Fed Ex and UPS, works within customer shipping portals, generates shipping labels, prepares customs and export documentation, and monitors shipment status from origin to delivery.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has hands-on experience managing both domestic and international logistics operations. This role pays $24/hr and follows a shift of 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities- Coordinate and process domestic and international shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and accuracy.
- Utilize carrier platforms (e.g., Fed Ex, UPS, DHL) and work within customer shipping portals; generate shipping labels; prepare customs and export documentation; monitor shipment status from origin to delivery.
- Collaborate with operations, inventory, procurement, and customer teams to resolve shipping issues; maintain accurate records within SAP and other internal systems; ensure compliance with shipping regulations and customer requirements.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, materials, warehouse, or supply chain operations
- Hands-on experience processing domestic and international shipments
- Experience using carrier shipping platforms (Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, or similar)
- Experience generating shipping labels, tracking shipments, preparing shipping documentation, and resolving shipment issues
- Experience working within customer shipping portals and transportation management systems
- Strong computer skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Ability to prioritize multiple shipments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
