Supply Chain Coordinator – External Suppliers

• Manage purchase orders for subcontracting vendors, including creation, tracking, revisions, and closure.
• Coordinate and monitor work-in-process sent to and received from subcontractors.
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned subcontractors regarding operational, commercial, and performance matters.
• Collaborate with Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Finance, Customer Service, and other stakeholders.
• Collect, validate, and integrate subcontractor feedback into planning and ERP/MRP systems.
• Manage supplier compliance and risk tools.
• Lead onboarding activities for new suppliers, including system setup, documentation, compliance approval, and production readiness.
• Develop and review subcontractor KPIs and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Identify and elevate supply risks, delays, and performance gaps and propose mitigation plans.
• Support improvements to subcontracting processes, cost, lead time, and operational efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in procurement or planning preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills required for collaboration with internal and external partners.
• SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft tools, including Excel and PowerPoint, required.
• Understanding of purchasing and inventory concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Travel may be required.

Demonstrates expertise in managing purchase orders, supplier compliance, and risk management while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams. Proficient in integrating subcontractor feedback into ERP/MRP systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
