Base pay range$45.00/hr - $48.00/hr
Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry, has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Project Engineer for a 9‑month+ contract. PositionDescription (Principal Duties and Responsibilities)
- Providing engineering support to a manufacturing process, project or function.
- Evaluating manufacturing outcomes.
- Implementing continuous improvements and cost efficiencies.
- Supporting NPI and new equipment/process introductions.
- Directly supporting yield sustainment.
- Working on production lines that have been a part of a manufacturing transfer.
- Overseeing sending site processes between two different locations.
- Disassembling and cleaning tasks will be in one facility.
- Assembling, functional testing, and packaging will be at another facility.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Preferably Mechanical or Electrical).
- 1‑3 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering, preferably in the medical device or regulated industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software and statistical process control (SPC) tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot simple electrical and mechanical systems.
- Proven ability to identify yield issues, trace them to their source, and implement sustainable countermeasures.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
