Responsibilities
The Machinist is responsible for the setup, operation, and support of CNC machining processes, producing precision parts to specification. This role is setup-heavy and focused primarily on editing existing CNC programs to support repeat production work.
- Set up, adjust, and operate CNC lathes and CNC milling machines to machine parts to specification.
- Perform machine setup activities, including aligning and securing fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials.
- Edit existing CNC programs to support production needs; full program creation is limited, as the majority of work is repeat jobs.
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and precision measuring instruments.
- Use measurement instruments including, but not limited to, calipers, OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators, and scales.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and engineering documentation to determine machining methods, sequences of operations, and tolerances.
- Monitor feed and speed of machines during the machining process to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Lay out, measure, and mark metal stock to indicate placement of cuts.
- Perform in-process inspections using standard measurement equipment.
- Inspect hardware and materials to identify defects, errors, or quality issues and determine root cause when necessary.
- Select appropriate tools, machines, and materials in preparation for machining work.
- Clean and lubricate machines, tools, and equipment to maintain proper operating condition.
- Confer with senior machinists and leadership as needed to ensure machining output meets specifications.
- Accurately complete required process and production documentation.
- Stay current with machining technology and apply new knowledge as appropriate.
- Operate a forklift as needed (preferred, not required).
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- 8–10 years of machining experience, with strong hands‑on CNC experience.
- Demonstrated experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and CNC mills.
- Strong knowledge of machining equipment and tooling.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated stability in work history.
- Ability to perform physical activities including lifting, standing, walking, stooping, and handling materials for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
Pay RangeThe salary range for this position (in local currency) is 18.85 - 35.10.

Accordingly, candidates must either be U.S. Persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) or be prepared to collaborate with the company in securing the necessary U.S. government export authorizations.
