Keep all mechanical and electrical equipment throughout the plant in optimal operating condition. Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and production machinery. Assist production operators with machinery set-up. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment as needed.

• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Follow and ensure compliance to quality system and cGMP programs.
• Assist operators and employees with setup and operational issues. Make adjustments to machinery to correct minor problems with product aesthetics, quality, or operational efficiency of equipment

• Repair mechanical issues such as replacing stripped bolts, broken belts, replaces motors, gear boxes, bearing, VFDs and drives.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in various machinery.
• Develop, fabricate and install various changes to machinery to improve operational performance or correct operational deficiencies
• Install electrical wiring, conduit, and disconnect for machinery and equipment.

Set up new equipment and train operators on equipment usage.

Purchase materials for repairs and/or replacement as directed if within spending guideline.

• Non-supervisory role.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of work experience needed.
• No certifications or licenses required.
• Must have moderate math skills.
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must have basic language skills.
• Must have basic writing skills.
• Must be willing to learn new tasks and procedures.
• Ability to efficiently and effectively perform all essential position duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation without posing a direct safety threat to self or others.
• Maintain a regular and dependable work attendance record with few instances of unplanned and/or unexpected absence.

Include but are not limited to test equipment, multi-meter, welder, grinder, saw, and drills, and all manufacturing and mechanical equipment.
