Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Thermoforming Process Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting thermoforming machinery to produce high-quality plastic components. Your expertise will ensure efficient production workflows, adherence to safety protocols, and consistent product quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced industrial equipment and contribute to innovative plastics manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities
  • Operate thermoforming machines and related equipment, ensuring optimal performance throughout production runs
  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery.
  • Perform quality inspections using precision measurement instruments and dimensional measurement techniques to verify product specifications
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation problems using engineering troubleshooting skills and hand tools
  • Handle materials safely and efficiently, including materials handling with forklifts and other industrial equipment
  • Maintain accurate documentation of production data, quality checks, and machine maintenance logs
  • Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
Experience
  • Proven experience in plastics production, including plastics blow molding, injection molding, or extrusion processes
  • Hands-on knowledge of machine operation within a manufacturing setting, especially with thermoforming or similar plastic fabrication methods
  • Basic math skills for measurements and process calculations necessary for maintaining product quality
  • Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to use hand tools for assembly and maintenance tasks
