As a Wet Etch Module Equipment Technician, you will play a critical role in Intel's high-tech manufacturing process, ensuring our tools are optimized for world‑class production. Responsibilities
  • Perform functions associated with all wafer production, including operations, equipment, process and training.
  • Conduct equipment maintenance and repair, equipment troubleshooting, defect reduction, and other duties supporting Fab objectives.
  • Work from technical manuals, specifications, drawings/diagrams, schematics, and written and verbal instructions utilizing a variety of tools, test equipment, problem‑solving techniques and communication.
Shift and Work Schedule

The Wet Etch Module Equipment Technician will be primarily scheduled to shift 4, but availability exists for shifts 4/5/6/7 depending on functional area needs.

  • Shift 4 – Night front half of week
    : PM‑AM Sun‑Tues (alternate Saturday nights)
  • Shift 5 – Days front half of week
    : AM‑PM Sun‑Tues (alternate Wednesday days)
  • Shift 6 – Night back half of week
    : PM‑AM Wed‑Sat (alternate Saturday night)
  • Shift 7 – Days back half of week
    : AM‑PM Thurs‑Sat (alternate Wednesday days)

The position requires a compressed work week schedule with 12‑hour shifts from about 6:00PM to 6:00AM.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of related hands‑on experience OR military technical experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 2.5+ years in a related equipment maintenance role.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years technical experience OR 3+ years in a technical/trade certification.
  • Associate degree in a STEM related field and 2+ years of related equipment maintenance experience.
  • Must be willing to lift up to 35pounds 4 times a day and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Military experience.
  • Advanced node semiconductor manufacturing experience in a production environment.
  • Experience in Wet Etch functional area.
  • Experience performing hands‑on preventive and corrective maintenance on 300mm semiconductor equipment (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated skills to influence the content and creation of new specifications, procedures, and business processes related to equipment maintenance.
  • Knowledge of process control systems.
  • Experience with schematics and complex drawings/diagrams.
  • Integrated circuit fabrication experience.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the U.S.: $60,450.00–$99,770.00 USD (Hourly Role).
