12-hour shifts nights 6:00pm – 6:00am (Training will be during the day time hours of 6am - 6pm)
We are seeking motivated Lab Technicians to join our team. You will be required to assist with logistics and tool operation for the labs. Operation of SEM/optical based instruments for imaging and perform TEM sample prep. Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or plans to perform moderately complex sample fabrication procedures. You will be required to work on a team within different departments while working this assignment.
Training others with documented instruction may be required later to support the business needs.
- Write or verbally provide passdowns to team HSD tool operation/load unload tool multiple times per shift. Follow procedures to start and stop tool operation.
- Load and unload wafers from tool TML tool operation/plucking multiple times per shift.
- Plucking lamella. Provide CD Metrology manually multiple times per shift.
- Follow instructions to manually measure dimensions and provide analysis results.
- Wafer Scrap multiple times per month. Take bulk number of wafers and scrap by procedure.
- Load/Unload THM, operate THM, recoveries multiple times per shift.
- Operate THM tools, work on computer and HVT tool operation/metrology multiple times per shift.
- Operate HVT tools, apply manual metrology work instructed by engineers. Filling LN2 to THM/HVT tools once per shift. Following safety guidelines to fill liquid nitrogen to tools.
- Regularly lift loads up to 20 lbs.
- Safely operate a golf cart.
- Push a cart/carrier continuously as much as 100lbs.
- Stand or sit for up to 9 hours within a shift and move items from one location to another.
- Work on a compressed work week schedule with 12-hour shifts alternating between three and four days per week.
- High school diploma or equivalent (to be completed by employment start date).
- 1-3 years of work experience.
- Be able to work in a dynamic environment, adapted to fast-changing priorities.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- A demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
- Ability to successfully interface with peers, engineers and other analytical groups.
- Detail oriented, procedural, deliver complete follow-through of instructions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Teams.
- Higher education after High school
- Experience using the following tools is preferred:
- SEM = scanning electron microscope
- TEM = transmission electron microscope
- FOUPs = wafer carrier
- HSD
- TML
- THM
- HVT
- LNS.
- Plucking lamella = one task involved in tool operation
This position is entry-level, with compensation adjusted accordingly.
