Mechanical Assembler job ndler, AZ.
Job Title: Assembler Level II or III (Climate Controlled A/C State of the Art Manufacturing Facility)
Pay: Level II: $20/hr to $21/hr, Level III: $23/hr to $24/hr
Location: East Mesa
Schedule: 7am to 3:30pm M-F
Job Description- Lead and execute complex assembly tasks, including those requiring advanced mechanical assembly of components and subassemblies.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and specifications to ensure the correct assembly of components.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve issues in assembly processes and product functionality.
- Coach and train lower-level assemblers, providing guidance and mentoring on techniques, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Ensure that the team is adhering to all safety and regulatory compliance standards.
- Continuously review and recommend improvements to assembly processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other departments to resolve design or manufacturing issues.
- Perform final quality inspections and testing to ensure that the assembled products meet company standards and specifications.
- Maintain inventory of parts and materials required for assembly and ensure that stock is kept at optimal levels.
- Assist with the setup, calibration, and operation of automated or semi-automated equipment used in the assembly process.
- Follow lean manufacturing guidelines, providing continuous improvement suggestions for gained efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing roles, with experience in leadership or team supervision.
- Expertise in reading and interpreting complex technical documents, including engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to train and mentor junior team members and contribute to team development.
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes and manufacturing best practices.
- Able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
- Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch, as required.
- Able to climb portable ladder.
- Pay range: $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
