Operator II

The Operator II is responsible for operating precision machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality. This role requires strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment issues, a high level of attention to detail to maintain accuracy, and the stamina to perform repetitive tasks efficiently. The Operator II plays a critical role in maintaining production standards and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Problem Solving
Skills:
Machine operators will need to know why machines are not at peak performance, how to increase output and how to fix errors. - Attention to Detail:
Machine operators will work with precision equipment. Being off by millimeters could be a critical error. - Mechanical and Technical
Skills:
Some machines are controlled by computers and operators will need to work with CAD/CAM technology. Others are highly mechanical, and operators will need to know how and why they work. - Ability to use machine operators often work long hours doing repetitive movements.

- Ability to read schematics work and complex instructions, how and make sure items are designed and built correctly.
- Able to read need to read and understand blueprints, schematics, models, and other specifications.
- Know the basic welding symbols, welding gases, straightening, and tweaking techniques and heat shrinkage.
- Follow company policies in regard to workmanship standards, quality policy, and customer specifications.
- High School diploma or equivalent.

- Prolonged sitting with some standing and bending intermittently during work hours.

- May involve exposure to moderate noise levels from printers, faxes, computers etc.
Work may require out of town travel depending upon assignment (training and meeting).
