Grind Machine Operator

Job Description

The primary responsibilities of this position are to load, operate and unload surface grinding machinery with ceramic semi-finished products. The Grinding Operator will also operate small hand tools and equipment in the use of moving and processing products as well as ensuring the machining production schedule is executed to time, quality, and productivity requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of industrial equipment experience

• Computer Literate and Knowledgeable about tools and tooling

• Able to utilize small hand tools, Powered Industrial Trucks, or other lift mechanisms.

• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds without strain and needs to have a Quality First attitude and a strong team spirit to help keep equipment running within process specifications.

• Must stand for several hours at a time while performing their main job functions

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• CNC Plasma
• CNC Laser
• ODID
• Need a steady job history
• Need to have 2-3 years of laser or plasmas, can train them and willing to.

This person will start training for 6-8 weeks on the day shift Monday-Thurs 6am-6:30pm

then will move to 4:15pm-2:45am Monday through Thursday.
