The Electronics Technician III works under limited direction/supervision and is responsible to test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production of electronic or mechanical products, parts, equipment and systems, such as computer equipment, instrumentation, digital / analog, electronic products, test equipment, electro‑mechanical products, applying principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, and electronic testing.

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, work orders, and test procedures to perform testing on electronic and mechanical units using engineering documentation and theory.
• Perform automated and manual testing using equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, ICT, flying probe, vibe, burn‑in, thermal cycle systems, and other special‑purpose testers; maintain system logs and documentation.
• Calibrate, adjust, and troubleshoot units down to the component level using electrical and mechanical calculations (voltage, resistance, impedance, flow, mechanical dimensions, etc.).
• Create detailed non‑conformance reports, documenting failures and initial root‑cause findings, and collaborate with design/test engineering to resolve production problems.
• Support CBS initiatives (5S, KPIs, Standard Work, problem solving), follow OSHA and company safety practices, and perform limited soldering/microscope work as needed.
• Test higher‑complexity units under limited supervision and provide troubleshooting support across programs.

• Experience:
  
  3-5 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent educational experience.
• Knowledge:
  Extensive knowledge of methods and procedure in troubleshooting, circuitry or mechanical characteristics as related to area of assignment and ability to devise and adapt;
  Familiarity with product flow through a manufacturing or repair environment;
  Working knowledge of computer systems.
