Group/Division The KLA Services team consists of Service Sales, Marketing, Spares Supply Chain Management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, Digital Solutions and Analytics, and Technical Product Support.
Our services organization maximizes the value of our customers' KLA assets - with highly trained service and product support engineers providing installation services and 24/7 technical support and parts delivery through our extensive supply chain network.
In this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.
- Selected candidate must be able to work 6 days/week, 10 hours/day
- Be the Face of KLA Technology at Our Customer Sites Worldwide
- Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, ensuring installations are completed on schedule and meet quality standards
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during installation by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
- Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of highly complex semiconductor capital equipment
- Collaborate cross-functional with KLA regions, engineering, and customer teams to verify system performance and transfer tool ownership
- Provide clear status updates to all stakeholders throughout the installation process
- Complete installation documentation and administrative requirements accurately and on time
- Secure warranty sign-off on newly installed tools
- Operate independently while following documented procedures, exercising sound technical judgment within defined guidelines
- Work under guidance from managers and senior IEs, with increasing autonomy as experience grows
- Engage effectively in cross-cultural and cross-functional environments
- Extensive travel domestically and internationally to support customer installations worldwide
- Strong knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical systems
- Experience with high-vacuum systems strongly preferred
- Comfort working with computer systems, operating systems, and networking (Windows, Unix, or similar environments)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
- Able to work effectively across cultures, functions, and geographies
- Minimum Qualifications:
ASET minimum degree or equivalent work experience in supporting complex capital equipment for the semiconductor industry is required.
