Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Cardiac Care ICU Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. You will provide patient care to Level One Trauma Cardiac Surgery, ECMO, Tandem Neurology Neurosurgery and Medical patients. Our ICU is an 80 bed ICU that consists of 12 Cardiac Care Beds, 36 Medical‑Surgical Beds (12 of which are Cardiovascular ICU) and 32 Surgical‑Trauma‑Neuro Beds and which all house state of the art equipment.
Chandler is ACS Level One Certified Trauma Center Accredited Stroke Center and is a Center of Excellence for Coronary Artery Bypass Patients and Mitral Valve replacements. The ratio for our ICU patients is 1:1 or 1:2 and is staffed 24x7 by certified Critical Care Intensivists.
Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.

Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior, and supports ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues.
Serves as an advocate for patients needs by demonstrating holistic care practices.
Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients condition (i.e. Lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
Utilizes SBAR format tool to notify physicians, and other providers of clinical findings, performs nurse-to-nurse report at the bedside.

Job Requirements RequiredGraduate of an accredited school of nursing
Registered Nurse (RN): AZ or Compact license
One (1) year Registered Nurse (RN) experience
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Diploma, or foreign equivalent
American Heart Association
Basic Life Support
Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of hire or transfer
Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN)
One (1) year Registered Nurse (RN) experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
