How you'll contribute

A Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) who excels in this role:

  • Perform basic patient care tasks including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
  • Provide general nursing support such as positioning, lifting, turning, and using special equipment.
  • Assist with toileting needs using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation to the bathroom.
  • Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure, and intake/output measurements accurately and document in a timely manner.
  • Prepare patient rooms for admission and transfer, ensuring cleanliness and equipment readiness.
  • Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment with attention to ventilation and lighting.
  • Support patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, including handling of patient belongings.
  • Answer patient call lights, phones, and pages, responding promptly and appropriately.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current Arizona state CNA or LNA license and completion of a nursing assistant training course.

Additional requirements include
  • Certifications:

    Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
  • Experience:

    Minimum six months of experience in an acute care or long‑term care setting preferred.
  • Licenses:
    Current Arizona state CNA or LNA license.
  • Education:

    Completion of a nursing assistant training course.
