Schedule:
2x12, Days (6a-6p), Rotating Weekends
A Charge Nurse RN who excels in this role is responsible for leading and supporting nursing staff in the delivery of high‑quality, safe, and compliant patient care. This role includes clinical mentorship, documentation oversight, and coordination of staff assignments based on patient needs. As well as:
- Administer medications safely, accurately, and based on patient age and clinical condition.
- Minimize potential for medication errors by following proper medication administration procedures.
- Assist the RN with initial assessments and patient reassessments per policy.
- Identify and implement appropriate rehabilitation nursing interventions.
- Perform timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments under RN supervision.
- Deliver care based on patient response to treatment and update the interdisciplinary plan accordingly.
- Assess and reassess pain; use appropriate pain management techniques and educate patients and families.
- Perform all patient care tasks in a manner that promotes patient safety and reduces medical errors.
- Develop and implement individualized teaching plans based on patient and family learning needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program; BSN preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of two years in a rehabilitative or acute care setting, with demonstrated leadership ability.
- Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required;
Child and Adult Abuse Certification required; CRRN preferred.
