The Registered Nurse (RN) is a clinical position responsible for the delivery of direct patient care, utilizing the established nursing standards of care and standards of nursing practice for the patient population it serves. Through collaboration with all members of the health-care team, strives to support a patient centered culture and gain knowledge and skills to further the practice of the quality of patient services provided Registered Nurse functions under the direction of the Nurse Manager and/or the Chief Nursing Officer and exercises independent judgement in applying professional knowledge required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified responsibilities in the delivery of quality patient care.
This position is safety sensitive and subject to WMRMC’s Drug & Alcohol Policy.
Part-Time Night Shift Assignment
Minimum of 4-to-24-week assignment with opportunity to renew
Required Education
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Required Licenses & Certifications
- Valid registration as a Registered Nurse in the state of Arizona
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS ) within 30 days of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 30 days of hire
Preferred Education, Certifications, & Experience
- Bachelor's of Science Nursing
- Two (2) years previous RN experience in an emergency department or urgent care setting
- Trauma Nurse Care Course (TNCC)
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
- Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN)
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC)
