Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Telemetry | Nights

Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts/week |
36 hours guaranteed
48-hour guarantee may be considered
Bill Rate: $85/hour
We are seeking an experienced Travel MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join the float pool at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and adaptable RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable caring for a diverse patient population across multiple hospital settings.
The MS/Telemetry RN will provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based care while utilizing the Nursing Process, critical thinking, clinical judgment, and strong leadership skills to support positive patient outcomes.
This is a FLOAT POOL position. The selected RN must be willing and able to float between the following four facilities:
- Northwest Medical Center
- Northwest Houghton
Flexibility and adaptability are essential for success in this role.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients.
- Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions and respond promptly to changes.
- Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor telemetry and recognize/report significant rhythm changes.
- Administer medications and treatments safely according to physician orders and hospital policies.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Delegate and supervise patient care activities based on staff competency and experience.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain clinical competencies and participate in continuing education.
- Adapt quickly to different departments, workflows, and facility environments within the float pool.
- BLS, ACLS Required
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience
- Recent MS/Telemetry experience
- Strong telemetry assessment and clinical judgment skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be willing to float between all four designated facilities
- Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability
