About the Role

The Veterinary External Liaison (Account Representative) serves as a trusted relationship‑builder between 1st Pet Veterinary Centers and referring veterinary practices throughout the Phoenix metro area. This role blends relationship management, education, and growth, acting as the external extension of our Client Service teams. Much like an internal CSR supports clients inside the hospital, this role supports referring clinics externally, ensuring they feel informed, valued, and confident partnering with 1st Pet.

What

You’ll Do
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with veterinarians, technicians, and Brand managers.
  • Conduct consistent in‑person visits to assigned veterinary clinics.
  • Educate clinics on 1st Pet services, referral processes, and specialty offerings.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned referral partners.
  • Identify opportunities to grow referral relationships through trust‑based engagement.
  • Gather feedback and market insights to share with internal leadership.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Service, Operations, and Medical teams.
  • Track visits, follow‑ups, and account activity using CRM and internal systems.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in veterinary medicine, animal health, or a veterinary‑adjacent role preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing a territory.
  • Organized, accountable, consistent with follow‑through.
  • Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.
  • Compassion for animals and a professional, service‑minded demeanor.
