The City of Chandler Community Services Department is currently seeking qualified individuals to join our team as a Parks Maintenance Worker (part‑time, temporary, non‑benefited). The position is scheduled to work Saturdays and Sundays from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This recruitment will be used to fill regular full‑time, part‑time, and temporary positions.

The Park Operations Division plays a critical role in the City of Chandler’s quality of life initiatives by providing over 1,500 acres of safe, clean and well‑maintained parks that offer exceptional recreational experiences.

Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone to perform routine preventative, groundskeeping, repair, or maintenance activities on a variety of City equipment, park grounds, buildings, or structures.

• Completion of eighth grade, no experience required; and
• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.

• 1 year of landscaping, irrigation, or sports field maintenance experience.
