Location:

Chandler, AZ. Telecommuter role. Candidate must live in Arizona or be willing to relocate.

• On‑site major supplier surveillance and telecommuter duties.
• Responsible for the quality of products provided by the supplier.
• Develop and implement supplier quality evaluation and control systems.
• Ensure supplier process and product quality, including contractual, regulatory, and technical compliance.
• Interface directly with supplier personnel; assess supplier quality and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct product and process verification activities, monitor supplier quality performance, and drive root‑cause corrective action analysis for supplier quality issues.
• Manage supplier requests for waivers, deviations, and discrepancy reporting process.
• Keep management apprised of supplier performance, quality status, and risks.
• Coordinate and oversee supplier quality plan implementation through all program phases.
• Engage in supplier evaluation, qualification, and selection as part of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP).

Primary salary range: $ – $. Salary decisions consider scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions.

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field and 8+ years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree and 6+ years; OR PhD and 4+ years.
• Experience developing, planning, and implementing quality methods or strategies for procured items.
• Experience interfacing with suppliers, customers, associates, and management.
• Experience with AS9100/ISO
  9001 requirements.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government DoD security clearance.

• Knowledge of AS9100/ISO
  9001 requirements and lead auditor experience.
• Extensive experience working with aerospace/defense industry suppliers onsite.
• General experience with special processes.
• Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Six Sigma or Lean certifications.
• Strong written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing/engineering experience.
• Ability to apply problem‑solving/critical thinking skills at the supply base.
