Job SummaryThe quality technician will ensure product meets quality requirements before it is shipped to customer and help maintain quality system.
Job Requirements- Create, improve, and maintain document / record control system through hard copy filing and / or electronic database. This includes assisting in managing Department Procedures, Tech Cards, and blueprints from initial approvals to the shop floor.
- Assist in Managing corrective actions system.
- Assist in training employees in quality systems and procedures related to documentation and systems assigned.
- Generate customer Certificate of Conformance.
- Quality Technician will be responsible for the calibration of gauges measuring tools and test equipment used in their daily job and report issues.
- Perform other duties assigned by manager.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with three to five years of experience working in document control or other relevant manufacturing experience.
- Experience conducting internal system, process and product audits preferred.
- Must have strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Synchro (or other MRP)).
- Good organizational skills.
- Good communication and people skills.
- Must have the ability to interact with customer representatives, auditors, and individuals within our internal organization.
- Good problem‑solving skills must be capable of taking action items and assigned projects to completion with little supervision or assistance.
- Must be able to interpret processes and procedures.
- Be able to take responsibility for their work and make good, informed decisions.
