Position OverviewAs an Inspector 1st Shift – Level 2 located in Chandler, AZ, you will be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This is a fully on-site position; relocation is not available.
Responsibilities- Use predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies, mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.
- Use various measuring devices.
- Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
- Work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawings, inspection instructions, and checklists.
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- Perform line clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of additional education and/or related experience.
- Availability to work 1st Shift 6:00 am to 3:30 pm.
- Experience in cable manufacturing and/or inspection.
- Ability to read engineering documentation and inspect to drawings and parts lists, inspection plans, and supplemental instructions.
- Strong work ethic and good attitude.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Active or ability to obtain U.S. Government security clearance.
- Experience with IPC or prior IPC certifications.
