The Kroger Company - - - Responsibilities:
Assist the Department Manager in organizing work, staffing, training, and scheduling associates to ensure prompt courteous service.;
Respond to customer or associate comments, complaints, requests, accidents, and questions in a tactful, calm, and professional manner.;
Use Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) to manage ordering, receive merchandise, and balance on hand in the Department Manager's absence.;
Price and display merchandise; maintain signage, rotation, freshness, quantity, quality, and space allocation.;
Engage and counsel associates in merchandising techniques, customer service, product presentation, and promotional activities; implement company programs and policies.
