What You'll Do
Assist management with the supervision of associates in the assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and providing direction and guidance on member service approaches and techniques. Resolve member complaints and issues according to company guidelines and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Support the Open Door Policy and participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates.
Maintain the safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials according to steel standards, and reporting unsafe situations. Support the Sam's Club e‑commerce plan by overseeing operations of e‑commerce programs such as Club Pick Up, Ship From Club, and others. Audit online customer feedback, resolve complaints, and identify trends to help management implement solutions.
Train and provide resources for associates supporting e‑commerce programs, assign duties, provide feedback, communicate goals, and ensure coverage at the e‑commerce pickup location. Execute the Sam's Club Pickup plan and processes by updating key performance indicators, auditing customer orders, ensuring equipment availability, and maintaining awareness of pickup strategy and goals. Tour the club to evaluate CPU performance, train associates, and assess the impact of performance and processes on the club.
Develop new metrics through feedback and utilize current metrics to evaluate CPU effectiveness. Support projects to improve CPU efficiencies through KPI analysis and leadership insight, model efficient picking and loading, execute process improvement projects, and implement solutions to improve productivity and quality while ensuring proper staffing. Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding decisions about self‑service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and resolving member issues.
Encourage the sale of company products and services. Maintain sales floor and merchandise presentation in accordance with company policies, handle claims and returns, zone and stock merchandise, and sign and price items. Identify shrink or damage and secure high‑shrink merchandise. Oversee staging of club pickup orders in compliance with policies, develop, communicate, and implement processes that meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners.
Apply and support compliance with policies, procedures, and ethical standards using the Open Door Policy and correcting issues. Lead and participate in teams by sharing resources, determining customer and business priorities, coordinating work assignments, and supporting timelines. Demonstrate and promote a culture of belonging, respect diversity, build strong relationships, communicate with impact, and model integrity to support the company’s regenerative goals for associates, customers, members, and the community.

Hourly WageRange: $22.00 to $30.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour up to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
