Carwash​/Gas Attendant

Position Summary

Sam's Club #6213 – 700 N 54th St, Chandler, AZ . The role involves customer service and sales support for the gas station and car wash area, ensuring a safe shopping environment and maintaining area cleanliness.

• Communicate and explain membership types, programs, and benefits to both current and prospective members.
• Assist members with account decisions, build membership levels, and encourage renewals.
• Explain credit‑card program types, application processes, and promote the value of Sam's Club products and services.
• Provide member service by acknowledging needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services while maintaining a safe environment.
• Maintain the gas station/car wash area by cleaning, organizing, and ensuring accurate pricing signage.
• Handle claims, returns, zoning, merchandising, shrink, and damages in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Receive and stock merchandise supplies from distribution centers and suppliers; organize and maintain the facility while following procedures, using equipment appropriately, and completing required paperwork logs.
• Operate cash registers and related equipment to process purchases using appropriate procedures for different payment types and items sold.
• Operate and maintain car wash equipment and provide product and services to customers in compliance with company policies.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic point‑of‑sale system knowledge and math skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and operate equipment.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Hourly wage: $17.00 – $25.00* (may vary by location). Additional premiums up to $3.00 per hour may be paid based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
