Product Demonstrator Part Time

DESCRIPTION

The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. Acquires and maintains knowledge of products represented. Prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment, and supplies. Intercepts consumers and demonstrates products in a professional manner. Maintains an overall professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.

• Has desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
• Effectively communicates the features and benefits of the product.
• Prepares and serves food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
• Maintains a clean, sterile and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
• Maintains a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.
• Properly sets up and prepares event table for execution.
• Achieves 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assists with preparation for client visits and completes audit corrections.
• Builds and maintains rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
• Completes expense reports per company policy.
• Accurately prepares and submits all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
• Uses internet, company electronic systems, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Adobe PDF forms.

Education/Experience
:
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination.

Computer Skills
:
Proficient in using personal computer or mobile device with internal systems.

Physical Demands
:
Regularly stand, walk, use hands/fingers, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk, read, stoop, kneel, squat, climb ladders, balance, lift up to 25 lbs (occasionally 50 lbs), push/pull a demonstration cart, prepare foods, be exposed to cleaning supplies.

:
None.

Work Environment
:
Retail store environment with limited travel.

Physical Appearance
:
Professional appearance and grooming required; retail dress code applies.

Language Skills
:
English primary; bilingual may be required.

Compensation: $15.15 per hour.
