Arcosa is seekinga
Sales Representative
based out of our Chandler, AZ office to support the Greater Phoenix market. This role is responsible for developing sales plans, managing inventories, maintaining customer relationships, promoting products to industry professionals, forecasting sales, understanding bid procedures, and ensuring timely payment collections while supporting production capabilities.

Day to Day
  • Develop sales plans; gather information toidentifysales opportunities to expand or improve our market position.
  • Assist with the development and execution of long-term product strategies.
  • Responsible for inventories in assigned territories.
  • When new products are developed, work closely with leadership on pricing strategies.
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships; work directly with the customer when problems are presented.
  • Work closely with internal and external customers to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Accountable for the development and understanding of state, county, and municipal bid letting procedures as well as engineering and design processes, project material specifications, and material testing specifications.
  • Conduct local sales and market surveys.
  • Promote company products and materials to engineers,architectsand other specifying authorities.
  • Keep informed of changes in assigned responsibilities which may affect product sales, contract procedures, and product prices.
  • Develop forecast foranticipatedmarket sales by gathering,evaluating and presenting to management all market informationregardingcompany products.
  • Participate in community and social activities to promote the Arcosa brand.
  • Responsible for understanding

    Company’sproduction plant capabilities,efficiencies and cost to ensure maximum service to customers.
  • Responsible fortimelycollection of monies owed to Company and provide lien data to the credit department whenappropriateand other duties as assigned.
About You
  • Bachelor's/Undergraduate Degree, comparable experience may be substituted for preferred degree
  • Knowledgeregardingpricing strategies and sales forecasting
  • Sound working knowledge of aggregates and construction materials, including basic knowledge of customer uses of our products (i.e.concrete plants)
  • Knowledge of aggregates production including quality control
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills – verbal/written toestablishand maintain good working relationships with customers
  • Proficient in MS Word,Exceland Power Point
  • Knowledge of material standards withinconstructionindustry.
  • Must be a self-starter, whoworks with little supervision.
  • The ability to join andparticipatein industry-related associations and present the Company in such activities
