- In-person as well as virtual coverage for field sales vacancies and potentially other business needed support
- Ability to use sales techniques to ensure positive results to assigned list of healthcare professionals
- Verify and complete required data entry including details of the interaction, and any follow through actions in accordance with policies and procedures, ensuring data integrity
- Manage daily sales call activity to optimize time and maximize the achievement of sales objectives
- Listen and respond appropriately to customer questions and needs, ensuring acceptance of, or agreement with a “call plan” objective
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of products and ensure clear, concise and accurate communication of product information with target audiences using proper medical terminology within compliance guidelines
- Successfully complete all product and compliance training and meet training expectations to service customers within the parameters of the program
- Demonstrate effectiveness working independently and in a team environment
- Process customer requests related to product samples and resources in a timely, accurate, and professional manner
- Project a professional company image through all personal and phone interactions with customers and internal partners
- Display a positive attitude and customer focus, provide timely resolution for all customer issues, concerns, and/or questions
- Be able to manage call activity and messaging with Abb Vie approved best practices and compliance regulations
- Effective and timely communication with Manager
- Must safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality by following the guidelines set forth in the Privacy and Security Rules of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Sales experience preferred / 0-2 years of relevant sales experience is required
- The ability to work independently, highly organized and superior communication skills
- Experience in the healthcare industry involving interaction with physicians and office staff preferred
- Skills demonstrating professional phone etiquette
- Ability to use Microsoft Office (Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Demonstrates strong sales techniques and effective communication skills to engage healthcare professionals while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Proficient in managing sales activities and maintaining data integrity to achieve sales objectives.
