Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts seeks a Full-Time Senior Sales Associate to drive sales and deliver outstanding service in our music-focused retail store. In this role, you'll lead by example on the sales floor, guiding customers in selecting instruments, rentals, accessories, and private lessons while supporting students, parents, and educators. Responsibilities include meeting sales goals, processing transactions, managing inventory and merchandising, and mentoring junior associates.

Ideal candidates have strong retail sales experience, music knowledge, and a passion for supporting music education in a collaborative, student-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, service-focused sales support for instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons
• Meet and exceed individual and store sales goals and key performance metrics
• Guide students, parents, and educators in selecting appropriate instruments and lesson options
• Process sales, rentals, and returns accurately using POS systems
• Support inventory management, including stocking, tagging, and cycle counts
• Maintain clean, engaging merchandising and product displays
• Mentor and support junior sales associates on products and sales best practices
• Coordinate with lesson and repair teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Resolve customer issues professionally to maintain high satisfaction and loyalty
• Promote Music & Arts programs, events, and community engagement initiatives
